Groves is a melting pot. It is full of different cultures and people and they all blend together at times. Different groups can contain a bunch of different kinds of people and they all pick up on eachothers cultures. Our school allows for cultural differences and embraces new people. One benefit of our "melting pot" of a school is that students learn acceptance of different cultures. Most of us are able to accept the new ideas and customs that a different culture brings. The fact that we are exposed to so many different cultures at young ages allows us to learn acceptance and different cultural ideas that we may use later on in life.

I also believe that Groves is a melting pot. We usually don't think that much of it because most of the students here have gone to schools in similar environments their whole lives. It seems strange to think that in many other schools in Michigan and across the country, students don’t have these cultural experiences. I think it’s very beneficial for the students here to go to school among each other. It gives us a better view of how the world is made up, and will leave us open minded after we leave Groves.
It's true Groves is a melting pot. Many of us are of different ethnicities and celebrate different cultures, but we are all the same in our goals. We all try to stay connected with our friends, stay on top of homework, and try to go to a good college. In that way Groves does reflect the larger American society. Immigrants come here from all over the world with very different heritages, but basically want the same thing, to fulfill the American dream.
Groves I think is a melting pot. Unlike Seaholm we are a very diverse, most of us share different ethnicities. I think our school tries to in clude everyone and let everyone feel good about themselves. I think its a good thing because unlike most schools we get to experience different cultures and I think thats great, because my bestfriend happenss to be Lebanise and I am Black. When we leave Groves we wont be afraid to blend in with others that dont look like us
